Make the reference count
The Royal treatment turns an ordinary dog photograph into a formal painted character. Rich fabric and warm lighting can suit a dignified pose, while a familiar grin adds humor. Keeping the canine face natural is more important than filling the scene with elaborate regal accessories.
Pick the right photo
Take a single-dog photo at eye level, showing the head and upper chest. Leave space for floppy ears and long fur. Avoid an action shot with a blurred nose or partly closed eyes. Side lighting can help distinguish fur from a dark background.
Choose the mood and details
Burgundy fabric, black embroidery, or muted green can each produce a different mood. A simple background keeps the portrait focused. Use optional notes to request a costume color, not to rewrite the entire preset with a complex historical scene.
Review before you unlock
Inspect the muzzle, eyes, and the transition from collar to coat. The selected style does not guarantee every accessory appears exactly as described. Review the watermarked preview before unlocking the HD version, and check pixel dimensions before choosing a print size.
